This was quite a unique and memorable wedding for us filled with personality, humor, and lovely lovely details!
From the Bride:
“I wanted something that felt somewhat “country” and low key – outside, casual, with lawn games and hanging lights. I always knew I wanted it to be outside under a tent. Because my husband is English, we also wanted to incorporate as many British traditions into the wedding as possible – the theme was ‘A Special Relationship’ based on the joke about the UK and the US. Therefore, we had all of the ladies wear hats in British tradition. We also did the traditional British speeches where the groom makes a long speech (was a hit!) There were other little elements as well, including passed fish & chips as an hourdeourve and lots of American and British flags everywhere.
Most memorable Wedding Day moments — when Richard gave a toast (I never cry and he had me in tears) and also when we did our first dance. We were terrible and laughing the whole time but it was a blast. The whole day was memorable though!”
Advice for future Brides: “Relax, everything will work out great! Really take time to enjoy the day!”
