Allison, a post doctoral researcher, and Danny, a physical therapist, met in grad school at the University of Delaware. Allison was a Teacher’s Assistant for one of Danny’s physical therapy classes and after the semester was over they went to Mikimoto’s in Wilmington and talked for 4 hours straight!

Danny is an enormous Phillies fan – his “favorite place to be” is Citizen’s Bank Park. (Allison’s mother crocheted the Phillie’s logo belt Danny wore in the portraits below!) He took Allison down to Tampa in February “for a little warmth and to see Phillies pre-season” at a game during the team’s Spring Training camp. Danny proposed to Allison along the Tampa Bay during a walk together.

This being an outdoorsy couple some of their favorite times have been all of the hikes they’ve been on together. Allison and Danny love exploring new parks and trails! The two will wed next March at Winterthur in a tree-themed ceremony and reception.
