Julienne and Alex’s Winterthur Wedding ~ mkPhotography, Delaware Wedding Photographer


In early 2011 Alex was in the final six months of a posting to the USA with the Australian Department of Defense. When his brother and sister-in-law came to visit, he took them to a local restaurant where he ended up meeting Julie. After that night, the two of them saw each other as part of bigger groups on a regular basis and very quickly their relationship developed into something more! When Alex returned to Australia, the two of them maintained a long distance relationship and in February of 2012 Alex returned to the USA to visit Julie, where they visited Deep Creek Lake in Maryland and Alex proposed. A flurry of paperwork followed in the effort to get Julie a visa to live and work in Australia, and the two of them did so until returning to the US to get married on June 1st, 2013! The wedding was absolutely charming with a lot of vintage details.

Julienne Kirby - What gorgeous photos we have!! We absolutely loved the sneaks and have now managed to view ALL the photos from the wedding online as well. There are just so many! Thank you again for your amazing work on our wedding. We really enjoyed working with you and the photos are beautiful. We will have such a hard time picking out ones for prints and our book. No wonder it takes people so long.
