Reconnect Thursdays: Last June we had the pleasure of documenting Heather and Scott’s big day! Such a great couple, beautiful dress and awesome day. Enjoy!

Scott and I met through a mutual friend when we were out at a bar one night in Wilmington. So, it may not be the best odds but we are proof that you can actually meet your significant other at a bar! We started dating about three months later and got engaged about a year and a half later when Scott proposed at one of our favorite weekend getaway spots in Lewes just before the holidays. He surprised me by telling me we were getting together there with friends for a holiday dinner but when we arrived it was just the two of us and he popped the question with the prettiest ring I had ever seen!
Planning our wedding was a whirlwind because we wanted a Spring wedding and didn’t want a super long engagement. I loved our ceremony because Rabbi Kirshbaum did a lot of work with us during our engagement to make sure it was very personal. Greenville Country Club did such a fantastic job for us and we had so much fun at our wedding. We had so many compliments on the band and dinner. In August we went to Italy (the Amalfi Coast and Rome) on our honeymoon and had a lovely time sightseeing and indulging in lots of wine and pasta.
Fast forward to April 13, 2012: we welcomed baby girl Sophia to the world! Amazing how much life can change in a year…
