From the Bride:
How we met: I had just moved to Manayunk with my 2 girlfriends after college. We decided to invite all of our closest friends over for a party. Chad came with a group of friends we had in common. I knew literally all of his friends and was even roommates in college with one of his friends from high school but for some reason we just never crossed paths until this party. We really didnt speak that night but the next day Chad asked one of our mutual friends for my email address. Monday morning he emailed me at work. Monday night he called and asked me on a date. That Friday we had our first date at one of my favorite BYOBs in the city and the rest is history. We have been together ever since!
The Proposal: Chad and I were in Miami celebrating our 3 year anniversary. He had planned a surprise celebration for us which ended up being a private 4 hour sunset sailboat ride around Miami. Dinner was also included. It ended up being a really windy day and in order for the chef to cook we had to dock the sailboat. While the chef was preparing our meal Chad and I decided to take a stroll around the island to see the beautiful sunset. We then exchanged anniversary cards. After I finished reading mine, Chad told me to turn the card over and on the back he had written P.S. Will you marry me?. I turned around and he was on one knee with a ring!! We popped a bottle of champagne and celebrated the rest of the night. It could not have been more perfect!
