Pre – wedding getting to know you or engagement session are not just about the images. We get to spend time with the couple, getting to know each other – How we work, who we are and our personalities. It is a great opportunity to build trust not just between the couple and the photographers, but also with family members who can admire the resulting images. Trust is one of the mail ingredients in creating images on the wedding day. With trust comes familiarity. Both bride and groom can much more readily “ignore” the camera during special moments and be in love on their wedding day. Posing and moments come naturally when relaxed.

We also try to incorporate the couple’s interest and history when scheduling the session to make it more interesting and unique for all of us. So bring your ideas, we are happy to listen and implement them!

Steph and Raj met each other as friends at the University of Delaware and wanted to remember their lives there and visit familiar places. We never realized what beautiful backdrops and fun shops the campus offered. What a fun shoot we had. Even better Steph and Raj are getting married in the fall at Grounds for Sculptures. We can’t wait to be there. Let the weather be beautiful and the leaves colorful!
