What an amazing couple Kelly and Dayne are! So excited for us to photograph their wedding, and we felt the same way! I felt the special chemistry between all of us at the engagement shoot that we did last June. They were so willing to just let the day flow naturally and I felt they were really themselves all day. So kind and giving Kelly was such a pleasure to be around. Our day started at the Hotel DuPont where Kelly and the girls got ready. Dayne and his men started there also. Katie my assistant captured a bit of getting ready, the guys had fun being guys. Fun stuff!
Kelly and Dayne decided to see each other before at Gibraltar Gardens, Wilmington DE which was an excellent idea, knowing that they wanted truly special pictures without the normal rush and pressure. Their event was hosted by the Hotel DuPont which included the ceremony upstairs and magnificent reception in the Gold Ballroom. We were all treated very well by Andrea, the Gold Ballroom host and coordinator. There was no lack of emotion on this wedding day…you can just see it in the following images. Amazing!
