A great couple I have been waiting to photograph, and an amazing family that welcomed us with open arms. Mariana and Michael thank you so much for including in your special day! We loved every minute of it! And a big thanks to Don and Mary Anne, father and mother of the bride and Carol and Rick, mother and father of the groom! You made our day! Mariana and Michael you have awesome parents. Mariana and Michael were married at St.Joseph’s on the Brandywine in Greenville, DE. We had planned to do photos at Gibraltar gardens in Wilmington but a rainy day changed our plans. Though the umbrella were perfect, nothing was going to stop them from getting an outdoor photo! I also want to say that Mariana and Michael were so optimistic and made sure the rain was not going to affect the wedding day mood. As they say “lots of good luck for them!”
I remember Don mentioning to me that it rained the day he was married and they have been together for over 30 years! See, evidence to support the myth! The reception was held at the Hotel DuPont in the Gold Ballroom. Guests danced all evening to thee up beat songs of “Dreamtime” a band with ebe(Eddie Bruce Entertainment). As I write this post on another rainy day Mariana and Michael are basking in the hot sun on the island of St Thomas. I’m sooo.. jealous! Enjoy!
